Description

FTT Series steam traps with in-line pipe connections are engineered for the efficient removal of condensate and air in HVAC and industrial process applications, including unit heaters, water heaters, pressing machines, heat exchangers, and coils. These traps are equipped with a robust welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent, along with a stainless steel seat and internal mechanism, ensuring reliable and long-lasting performance. Thanks to their excellent air-handling capabilities, FTT traps are often a more effective choice than inverted bucket traps in most process systems. They are also suitable for drip applications, such as draining steam mains and supply lines, offering a versatile solution for maintaining steam system efficiency.

Features

• All stainless steel internals with hardened seat and wear parts.

• In-line repairability is simplified by having all internals attached to the cover.

• F&T traps discharge condensate immediately as it is formed no condensate will back up into the system.

• Ductile Iron has a higher pressure and temperature rating and is more resistant to shock loads than cast Iron.

• Welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent resists shock from water hammer. Live orifice air vent is available for super heated applications.

• Excellent air handling capability allows air to be discharged rapidly so steam can enter the system quickly during start-up.
