 Description

The FTT Series steam traps with in-line pipe connections are engineered for efficient condensate and air removal in HVAC and industrial process applications such as unit heaters, water heaters, pressing machines, heat exchangers, and coils. Designed for reliability and performance, each trap features a welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent, a stainless steel seat, and internal mechanism components that ensure long-lasting operation. With excellent air-handling capabilities, FTT traps are often preferred over inverted bucket traps for most process applications, offering faster and more efficient system start-up. They are also well-suited for drip applications, including the drainage of steam mains and supply lines.

Features

• All stainless steel internals with hardened seat and wear parts.

• In-line repairability is simplified by having all internals attached to the cover.

• F&T traps discharge condensate immediately as it is formed no condensate will back up into the system.

• Ductile Iron has a higher pressure and temperature rating and is more resistant to shock loads than cast Iron.

• Welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent resists shock from water hammer. Live orifice air vent is available for super heated applications.

• Excellent air handling capability allows air to be discharged rapidly so steam can enter the system quickly during start-up
